Question

My question is why would the Rice mascot give an official some grief about a call against the other team? Whooooooo would do such a thing?

I'm confused - who flipped the bird to who?

Maybe Tulane was pecking away at the lead, and Sammy's feathers got ruffled.

Or, maybe Curtis was just in a fowl mood.

(Geeze, these are just too easy.)

Maybe owls do that as a sign of affection? Maybe Sammy was just trying to worm his way into Curtis' good graces?

That's Shaw's 3rd ejection this week.

He was on the St Johns/Cincy game when he tossed 2 players.

Mascots? Who gives a hoot?

Sorry

That's way too harsh for just going over the beak.
