Here's a link to a photo of the winner of the annual Best HS Mascot contest. Guess the name of the school.

The thing doesn't even look like a real animal. It looks like a special effect puppet for a horror movie. Blech.

That's actually what I look like before I do my pre-game primping.

So, is the Frankfort, IN Hot Dog?

Or, perhaps the Rhinelander, WI Hodag? (A "Hodag" is a mythical, Tazmanian Devil-like creature that is said to inhabit the area around the forests near Rhinelander. Courtesy: Marc Sheehan's Distinctive High School Mascot Collection)

Would "Demon-Possessed Daschunds" be able to fit on a shirt without violating any of the uniform provisions?

No. You're all wrong. It's the mascot for the Central HS "Ex-wives".

In fact, it's actually my first wife (out of two so far).

I wonder if Juulie is right - is current wife number two not able to keep a close watch on you today? Or is it time to head to the pharmacy for refills?

Man, is it ever slow on this board in the summer...

My wife Merri is under heavy sedation, as usual. It's the only way she can stay sane around me.

Some of the grandkids are coming by in a little while and I know Nick (he's 5) will want to go out in the driveway and practice his dribbling. I just wish he'd use a ball.

Padgett,
Where do you find this stuff? I think there might be an 800 number in the phone book under Crisis Hot Line or Mental Health where you could talk to someone who might be able to help you. (LOL) RR
