No. Just raise the arms.

I don't know. But I know that 3-in-the-key is Team A having 3 people in the key at once. "3 in the key ref!"

Is that anything like 3 on a match?

It seems like you stopped counting on his move and then starting to count again when he picked up the ball. This is why we have the 3 second rule...this was a no brainer, but probably 3-4 seconds before you thought about it and your partner got it.

Wrong! He was in the lane about 4.5 - 5. When I got to three-- and the count started on the rebound -- he made his move, not to the basket but to pivot. No recount, just the continuation to see if he was going to shoot. No shot. Tweet!

Why would you bang it home. When I raised the other arm that sent the message that the shot was good. I wasn't wanting to show-boat!

Things do happen in 3s. Luckily, I do not smoke.

Interesting comment -- in pre-game we agreed to talk them out of the lane early in the game. But also to call the obvious. With that little time and him camping out and his size advantage ... it became real obvious!

I did that awhile back..........was it our game?. I thought I goofed.

You're correct, signaling the three is sufficient.
