Might have "Kicked" the call

Boys F game last night... A1 dribbling and just crosses mid court and dribbles ball while taking a stride - ball hits foot as foot moving forward and rolls towards the end line. I blow and call kick -

1. Can there be offensive kicking violation?
2. The rule book says any player deemed to have intentionally kick the ball can be called
3. Have you ever called offensive kick?
