Game Log
I know some of us have talked about this at various times but I don't think that we've had a thread on it (unless I've missed it somehow).
How many of you keep a game log/journal/whatever you want to call it? If you keep one, what do you keep in it? This is my first year of keeping one and I think it has been a great addition. It forces me to critic my performance when I get home when I'm not hyped up. Then when I get the game tape/DVD (sometimes a week or two later), I can see how it looks on video as compared to my initial observations. It's a great tool, IMO Here is was I have outlined to include but I usually add a lot more: 1. Date 2. Game (Teams, Location, # of games) 3. Officials 4. Assigned by 5. Mileage 6. Incidents 7. Play(s) of interest 8. Area(s) of emphasis 9. Comments -Josh |
