Ha Ha. Turns out I've given up on the patents. Sure did like the looks of them, but I've went back to leather and shining before every game.

Thanks for talking me out of the patents. Wasn't sure where I'd find the alligator print anyway! Actually, I remembered that I have a brand new pair of NB 608s that I'd forgotten about. May give them a try, but my Nikes still have at least one maybe 2 more seasons in them.
