Ok, it could have been a poor game, but they still screwed it up.
1. Misapply the rules.
2. Allow one coach to complain and get the decision in his favor.
3. When the other coach, who is correct about the rule, complains, he gets a T.

Mick was right, I usually try to stay positive in my critique of officials I observe and I try and stay away from discussing judgment. However, this was one of those situations where the crew called a very good game and then had it totally go south through their actions at the end. I was nicer than it probably came across in the post but it became an ugly situation especially after the "T". I try and be honest with what I observed because it is what I saw and that is how we all learn. Thanks for all of your feedback. As I was told at a camp this summer, "you can have a great game for 39 1/2 minutes and have it all go to H#$% in the last 30 seconds and that is all you will be remembered for". That is what I tried to convey to this crew and I also tried to explain once one officials grants a timeout request, the other can't take it away.
