Crew Meeting

Tonight I am holding a crew meeting for my crew. I got the basics...food, beer and our schedules. What would be good points to hit. We have four guys on the crew and we rotate games. We lost a guy last year and replaced him with two new member to make the four, though they are all experienced varsity officials. I was thinking:

1. Our pre-game...when we enter the court, get captains, talk to coaches...ect
Question, U1 and U2 do they stand across from certain teams during warm ups and do they switch during second half warm ups?

2. Calling the games consistently. Hand checks, rebounding action, block/charge...ect.

3. Ingame mechanics. No long switches, eye contact before putting the ball in play, primary areas...ect

4. New rules.

Our varsity season does not start until December. Thanks for any help you can give me to make a better season for us!!!

2007-09 NFHS Basketball Officials Manual
page 47
3.1.4 Arrival on Court: Enter the court together at least 15 minutes before game time and go directly to the designated positions, on the sideline opposite the table, as follows:
A. Referee: At the division line.
B. Umpire 1: Approximately 28 feet from the end line, opposite the visiting team's bench, observe the home team's warm-up.
C. Umpire 2: Approximately 28 feet from the end line, opposite the home team's bench, observe the visiting team's warm-up.

In my area the U1 and U2 switch positions when reentering the court prior to the 3rd quarter and observing the remainder of the halftime warm-up.
That way each umpire remains with his designated team.
