I use the Reebok Ref, both patent and plain, rotating them each game / series of games. Being honest, the plain ones hold a smooth, non glare, shine better than the patent.
I have used Nike in the past (never again) and also Adidas (again never again). FIBA also give me Champion - may look the part but with a few insoles maybe I could manage a quarter - so hard that I would rather use the box they come in! I just like the look and feel of the Reebok, they just feel good on my feet at the time, never any problem.

I am an avowed Adidas man. They work for me. The point is, you have to find what works for you and go with it. If you love the shoes you are wearing, buy more of them while you can because they will stop making them.

Nike, NB, Reebok, Aasic, Adidas .... no one will agree. I used to use Reeboks then switched to Nike MOnarch 3 or NB because they feel best to my old arthritic knees. But all feet and all knees are different. Find one you like and stick with it. But whatever you do don't get some sorry cheap shoe. You'll regret it every time you step on the court.
