OT - but tragic story
A fifth grader died at school today after being struck in the throat by a football during a flag football game at lunch. Here's a link to the story. There's also a link on that page to a letter the school principal issued.

Turns out it wasn't a thrown ball, but a kicked ball. The kid was trying to block a punt. The game was overseen by a teacher but there's really nothing the teacher could have done to prevent something like this from happening.
What an incredible tragedy.
