3 on 3 in San Diego
Gus Macker was started by Mitch McNeal in his
backyard in Michigan. The world tour 30 cities was hot in the mid-1980s. It was followed by Hoop It Up and a few others. They used to draw several thousand teams in Dallas. San Diego was a small market for them. Neither comes to San Diego anymore. We still have a once a year event sponsored by the Holiday Bowl and need refs for this year's event (May 18 & 19)at Crown Point Shores in Pacific Beach.
