surely you jest when you say that the North CarolinaHSAA requires the Smitty and only the Smitty to be worn. . . Do they mandate that all officials must wear the V-neck even though the NFHS still allows the Byron collar shirt to be worn?
Just to chime in, Mark, Massachusetts also requires us to use the Smitty and to wear V-neck shirts. NO collars, NO lanyards. Period.
