John Katzler
Just read in Referee Mag that he had died in June (08/08 p.69). Sad to hear that, went to his camp at Lake Forest College when I was a new official. There was a man that knew the rules. Very nice man too. Not sure the point of this, but just thought it was sad.

John Katzler
I, too, attended the John Katzler Basketball Officiating Camp. It was held at Northwestern University in Chicago in 1995. It was my first basketball officiating camp. John was as knowledgeable as they come. He will be missed by all in the Midwest.
