Simple solution.
Since schools have to paint the floor. They should remove the original 3-point line and paint a new line that is 1 foot wide. The inner edge is the NFHS/NCAA womens edge and the outer edge is the NCAA mens edge. 1 wide line.
That's my nickels worth.
I use to just put in my 2 cents worth, but due to inflation.....

Nice thought, but someone else already mentioned it to the NCAA folks and I read a response in one of their memos stating that one wide line could NOT be used. The ruling was that the two lines must be separate and distinct.
