Further clarification

You was meant to refer to refs - I know how I handle my players and I won't tolerate that kind of behavior. I don't think anyone took any official action in this case, because the player in question was playing first thing the next morning (her team's next game after ours) - and my players watched her play while waiting for our game. Needless to say they were not pleased that there were no repercussions for such an act.

I never saw the refs notify anyone about the incident(coach, player, or game management) following their comment to me about handling it. Not saying they didn't, but it sure didn't look like they chose to do anything about this. However, I should also note that they did a great job during the game - very well managed, communicated with coaches well, called a good game, etc - very professional. I was surprised at the ending.
