This was just talked about as to how much running we do and how level changes. I guess on average the Women's sides run less at each level.

Women's implies adults, so I'll assume he's referring to college. I'd guess the officials cover more distance in the women's college game than in the men's, because 30 < 35.

That's the shot clock. What's the actual average possession time?

While the court is longer, its not that much longer...about 12%. However, the game is 40 minutes vs. 32....25%. Together, that makes sense.

If figure I run between 1.5 and 4-5 miles a game depending on the game. I did the pedometer bit for a few games and got numbers from below 2 to above 4.

Players ???

How far does a player run? I seem to remember somebody figured out how far John Havelick ran in an NBA game, back in the late 1960's, I think it was five miles, but I can't find anything regarding this on the internet, except for this:

Whatever it is, it is far less than the average soccer referee covers during a game.

but it's never worked.

I've estimated that we run, on average, between 2 and 2.5 miles.
Hopefully the not working part was not due to running backwards.
