I find it interesting that this is included in the Terms of Use:

100% of the royalties that Ed Rush Sr. receives from his work on this project go to non-profit / charitable organizations (e.g. Blow the Whistle on Cancer).

So he does all this for free? Or maybe he's paid in salary AND royalties; and the royalties go to charity? I think it's great that he donates some part of the profits to charity. It does make me curious, though.

Also noticed this:

So, hypothetically, let’s say that right now you invest in the System. Two years from now (through the things you learn in this course), you make it to Division One. Let’s conservatively calculate an average 40 games for a season at just $800 per game.

It made me wonder if 40 games is a conservative calculation. There are just under 900 officials listed on bbstate.com. Exactly 127 received 40 or more assignments this season. That's about 14% of officials. It looks to me as though most are in the single digits; and I know that there are many officials on a conference roster who don't get any games.

I realize it's just a sales pitch, but 40 games per season seems optimistic, rather than conservative.

I donate all my ref fees - to my pharmacist.

Ed Rush, Jr., actually runs the business. Ed, Sr., gets a portion of the total income in royalties, and is giving those to charity. I'd guess Ed, Jr, makes a decent amount of money.
