I guess it depends on what association I am talking about. One of the associations I belong to has a banquet where they give out awards to people helpful to officiating and induct hall of fame entries every year. But there are not any awards for things like "Rookie of the Year" or "Official of the Year" kind of awards. We do recognize officials that go extensively in the post season but we do not give them anything special unless they have worked the State Finals.
