T on fan

First round of state varsity boys basketball playoffs. Visitor goes up by four with four seconds left in overtime. Home coach is granted a time out. An excited fan runs out of the stands behind the visitor bench and into the visitor huddle, maybe six feet on the floor, to high-five his buddies. Officials call a T....I don't know on whom, was it an indirect on the coach?

Have you seen anything like this? Would you do this? FYI, I was a fan of the home team, and the T was to our benefit, so this is not a rant. (We lost.)
