The fan didn't interfere with play. No T. Only asking for trouble.

As for game management removing a fan, lot's of luck! Most of the time you can't FIND the game management, they're at the concession stand or in their office or in the lobby. And, if they are available, they are usually so weak that they don't know what to do.

At the varsity level? In a playoff game? Glad I don't work where you do? In my last association (I'm between associations now having moved again), gm would have been all over that even in a jv game.

I agree that it should be a game management problem. There is a possibility that this was something the state wanted taken care of in their pregame. It is my understanding (not experience yet) that in some parts, including mine, someone from the state handles the pregame, not the officials that are working. The officials may have been specifically instructed to take care of this with a whistle. I have no idea if this was the case, but it may be a possibility.

In general you're correct. I had a situation this year with a belligerent fan who needed to be removed from the facility. I called the game administrator over and, as I went to point the fan out, the fan self-deported. I asked the administrator to be sure the fan found the exit and didn't come back. You would have thought I gave him the keys to the candy store. He "jumped to it" with great enthusiasm and we didn't see that fan again. Wish all administrators were all like that.
