In a game where the outcome will not be decided by the FT'S ..Do you shoot the shots if there was an obvious shooting foul at the buzzer??....7-8 Grade boys game..Thanks

If the period has expired and you have no knowledge to put additional time back on the clock, then the FTs will only be shot if they will impact the outcome.

So, no, you don't shoot the throws.

From 5-6-2 Exception 3: "No free throw(s) shall be attempted after time has expired for the fourth quarter or any extra period, unless the point(s) would affect the outcome of the game. "

And that includes the situation in which this is the final game of the season and the shooter, a Senior, needs one more FT to set a national record for most FTs made in a career and he was going to shoot three shots and he's the greatest kid in the world and he's also dating your daughter and the final score without him shooting means his team didn't beat the spread and you are now going to lose your house and you will probably kill yourself.

Yeah, the rule's pretty clear on this.

Agreed. This boy does not exist, as far as I'm concerned.
