If B fouls, A keeps the ball at the spot of the foul for all of the above. If the shooting motion has started, the basket counts, whether the shot was released or not.

Is this basket interference or goaltending or nothing? A1 throws a lob to a2 but it hits the rim and bounces around on the rim. I assume a2 has to let it clear first even though it was a pass but I wanted to check.

A2 must not touch the ball while in the cylinder or it would be basket interference.
