Texas Southern vs. Pine Bluff finish

In case you missed the Sports Center highlights, Pine Bluff hit a half court shot at the buzzer to tie the game. The Pine Bluff fans rushed the court and a technical foul was issued against PB. Texas Southern hit both freethrows, and overtime began with TS up by two points. The overtime was also started with a jump ball at center.

I don't doubt this is the proper procedure in NCAA, but is this the way its done in high school using NFHS rules?

Under FED rules Texas Southern would have initial throw-in in OT and upon disposal the AP arrow would have gone to Pine Bluff.

Doesn't say much for UAPB that their fans can't add.

Considering the Big Sky thread, they got it right.

Actually, this should not have been a technical at all. The fans running on the court did not interfere with play, as the regulation time was over. The rule states that if fans running on the court does not interfere with play it should be ignored.
