Common or intentional
BJV game. V team plays a very rough, physical brand of basketball. End of the fourth quarter they begin fouling, trying to get back in the game by making H shoot free throws (we were already in the double bonus well before this). On two different plays when H broke the press by beating the defender down the sideline, the defender running side-by-side with the ballhandler would clearly use his shoulder to bump him OOB. The contact was not severe or excessive. It almost looked like a routine football play where the ball-carrier gets knocked OOB. But there was also no attempt to play the ball.
We called them both common fouls. But I told the V team to knock it off or the next one would be called intentional. Would you have called this an intentional foul?
