I HATE PRE GAME MUSIC. Unless it's from the 70's.

I agree I had 2 gyms when rap was playing and The "B" word came out and a several "F" Bombs.

Coaches responsibility. I think it should be a "T" for the home team.

A couple of decades ago, one radio station I listened to had a catch phrases, "If it's too loud, you're too old." Based on that alone, the answer to your question is, yes.

I know you're referring to actual music, not disco, since disco wasn't music.

70's music

Mark,
You are right, I was not referring to Disco, I was talking about the good stuff from the 70's.

Just imagine teams warming up to the soft sounds of Bread " If", Neil Diamond " Sweet Caroline" , Seals and Croft " Summer Breeze" ,Terry Jacks, " seasons in the sun" and to top it off , to really get pumped Loggins and Messina " Your Momma Don't dance"

Oh those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end.....

My favorite was: Rock 1-0-3, the station your neighbors listen to...whether they want to, or not! :D

The louder the better!

I must live in a conservative area because the pre-game music rocks up here in Northern Michigan. Never had a problem, love how the music gets the kids, crowd and even the refs ready to rock. Turn it up!

The solution is pretty evident. Find the source and slip in your Perry Como CD. If THAT doesn't get the volume turned down, then step up your game and go to the Lawrence Welk CD.

There was a girls team from my area that won back to back state titles 10 years ago and it happened to be my old highschool, they used to play almost all disco during pregame and plenty of KC and the sunshine band. It really had everyone pumped.
