I was not going to get beat....
...down the floor.
I'm trail and play is deep towards division line, A1 with ball has it knocked away and I thought for sure b1 was going to pick it up and here we go one on one down the other way. Its a relatively small gym length wise (thats what I tell myself) and we've had some hard fouls in a game that is not close at this point so bam in two steps I'm 3/4 down the other way, to my surprise a2 snuck up there and has the ball still in the frontcourt. Oops. Some joker behind b's bench asked me where I was going, I had to shake it off cause he was right :-) My partners rightly razed me good about it after the game. Said they had things under control, but had to go into two man mechanics till I got back. |

Good scenario...and that's why you NEVER turn your back on the players...especially when running to the other end of the court.

Would you believe me if I said that is one thing I'm pretty good at not doing? I sat there and watched the whole play happen and I still ran the other way. It was purely a focus thing. Late in a bad game and I wasn't paying full attention to what was going on, I went on instinct.
