I agree. Not always but I have found you might reach the bonus or double bonus on both teams in the first half. Second half starts and you're expecting the same and the fouls diminish significantly. Both teams adjusted to how the game is being called.

I have found this to be true alot of times.

About 25% of the time I find coaches will continue to counsel their players to continue playing "aggresive defense" , almost like to see if we,the officials, are willing to keep calling it. I am and I do.

Nothing like a long Frosh game to put everyone in a good frame of mind.
