Question Missouri Officials - thearbiter.net

MO Officials:

When I signed in today, I had an invitation to join another group, it was from the MSHSAA office.

Since we don't get assignments from the state I was curious on their intentions, I haven't accepted it yet, but do have a call into Mr Pleimann (who was out to lunch at the time).

Anyone else in the state have any information?

Can't speak for MO, but here in CO, the state will be issuing tournament/playoff assignments through the arbiter. maybe it's similar there?

The main thing about the Arbiter program is the minute you sign up, anyone else that has your information on the Arbiter can use that information to ask you to join. I joined the Arbiter 5 or 6 years ago and I received games from 2 other sources because they put me in their system. Maybe that is what happen to you. I know I did not formally register in the other systems or for other assignors but I was able to accept games from those people/groups.

Peace

FOR MISSOURI OFFICIALS ONLY, OTHER STATES DO NOT HOLD ME TO THIS.

But for Missouri Officials I just got done talking to the rules interperter for the Northwest part of the state and the reason we are now in the group "Missouri Office" is so if they want to evaluate you or see you somewhere for a post season game they can look and see where your working. It didn't sound like they are going to use this to assign post season games, just to look and see where you are working during the regular season. I'm sure that any Missouri Official who uses The Arbiter for their associations assignments recieved the invitation.

So in other words, this will be where we will receive ratings?

No your ratings will be on the MSHSAA website, this is only for the sole purpose for state evaluators or state personel to see where your going to be working.
