new one on me
A few minutes before half was to begin, as ref, I checked table for something and Coach tells me the other team hasn't reported their starters implying that they are in violation. I down play it and casually tell other team to check in.
It caught me off guard as I've never been hit with that and thought I overlooked a rule. In searching rule book, I found nothing other than the usual stuff, but no mention of resuming play at half with any time constraints on reporting who is starting half. I'm guessing they need to check in with table before starting half but confess ignorance on this one. |

I believe 10-1-1 deals with starting the game NOT the 2nd half. |

fullor30: As long as the same team members who ended the 2nd quarter are returning to the floor to begin the 3rd quarter than there is nothing for them to do. If a substitute is being used to begin the 3rd quarter than they must report before the 15 second horn of the intermission. Per 3-3-1a. Though I don't remember ever paying attention to the reporting between quarters.
