Off topic - typical Turkey Day
Went to a fancy hotel in downtown Portland for Turkey Day with a lot of the rest of the family. Had turkey and salmon (hey - it's the Pacific Northwest). My wife had turkey and prawns. My daughter had turkey and lobster. My son had turkey and shrimp. The stuffing had almonds (yum). For some reason, they served sweet potatoes and yams. My wife had cheesecake with liquor flavoring for dessert. It's a good thing I was driving. The best part was that my son-in-law picked up the tab.
Oh yeah, I got there the same time as my son and he told the person at the front desk we were with the "Weaselpants" party. Also oh yeah, my grandson Nick put grapes in his nose. ![]() What a great holiday! ![]()
