youtube training vid
Interesting video...unlike most youtube stuff, you can actually see and hear the video nicely. It looks like a good intro for new refs:

The director of this video is in my conference. He did it for a school project with the support of the association. They said they would use it as an introduction for brand new 1st year junior officials. The video was shot using NCAA rules and then it was decided that everyone was going to switch to FIBA so Pat had to reshoot alot of the material. So it has some crossover of the 2 rulesets & mechanics. I am actually in the video but will wait to read comments before I say which one I am.

Very nice video. I recently started working with video editing and I thought this was well done. If anyone (SmokeEater) knows how to get in touch with the producer Patrick Faucher I would like to pick his brain on a few techniques that he used.
Again well done! |

When you click on his name at the side of the video it takes you to his youtube site. There is contact information for him in there. If that doesn't get you in touch with him then PM your e-mail or contact preference and I will forward to him.

I know this video, I've watched it. I can't say I agree with all of it- I suppose you do it a bit diffrent "over there" though...
And in this search http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...&search=Search You can find a few more FIBA videos, it's diffrent plays and there is a "key" to these even though I don't have one. I have seen some of them in my training though, they can sometimes be really intresting to discuss...
