Why does one need the exam to prepare for it?

If he's administering it, he might want to review the questions to see if there are any oddly worded ones so he can anticipate questions from the takers.

I have much less of a problem with someone asking for this particular test (as apposed to other tests) than someone asking for the answers to the test.

EXACTLY. Thx CR.

I think in Ohio in coming years, we will be required to take on-line tests every year to keep our license but right not there are no testing requirements with the exception to change from class 2 to class 1. Commonly referred to as "the move up test".

I'm not actually administering the test, my job is to help the guys taking the move up test prepare for it. This is my first year with this responsibility, the last 5 years, a 30+ year guy did it but he is retired.

What we have done in the past is randomly review the questions verbally with the guys to help them get ready. We don't give them the test or answers on paper. Just a verbal review.

No sweat - I've got an e-mail to OHSAA - I'll just go that route.

Larks,

What my group did when I took the Class 2 to 1 test was work off of an old test and assign questions to each person with them giving the reference in the Rules or Case Book. That way everyone in the class did some actually looking at rules in the book. Made a big difference in taking the test - it was a breeze because I had gone through almost every part of the book again.

Good luck with your task

In our state it is administered by the governing organization, WVSSAC, and they hire a school athletic director to administer the test - not another official. They send them the test and the answer sheet and then it's graded by machine - not by a human. I'm very suspicious personally.

I don't have a problem with Larks. But I still don't think you need the exam to prepare for it.

I've never seen a proctor answer questions from test takers who didn't understand oddly worded questions. That's any type of test/exam. That's a bullsh!t reason.
