NF 07/08 Rules Test Part II

Anyone have a copy of this test and answer key? I was "volunteered" to run our assoc move up test and was hoping to get a head start on prep.

I have a toll free fax or e-mail would be great.

Thanks

Larks

Relax - in Ohio - only people wishing to move up take the test. And, I am really teaching the class.....The copy provided me was 06/07 so Im trying to locate the newer one or I can wait until the correct one filters down.

Note - I didn't say POST it

You guys are too suspicious.

Suspicious? Not me. I trust you, larks. But in the past when someone asked for it, or offered it, there was a lot of flack thrown. We're all just bracing ourselves.

Doesn't your association have a copy yet? I'd think that would be the easiest way to get hold of it.

The copy they gave me was 06/07 so I e-mailed them for an updated copy which was answered with - this is all we have. I thought well, maybe someone had it here and could help out. I have some other resources I can ask. I forgot about all those posts before....

Never mind - I'll just wait it out.

Sorry for the breach of etiquette.

Doesn't your state HS association office have one?

It's only a breach of etiquette if you're lying about what you want it for, which (he added quickly!) it seems that no one thinks you are doing.

Why does one need the exam to prepare for it?

If he's administering it, he might want to review the questions to see if there are any oddly worded ones so he can anticipate questions from the takers.

I have much less of a problem with someone asking for this particular test (as apposed to other tests) than someone asking for the answers to the test.

EXACTLY. Thx CR.

I think in Ohio in coming years, we will be required to take on-line tests every year to keep our license but right not there are no testing requirements with the exception to change from class 2 to class 1. Commonly referred to as "the move up test".

I'm not actually administering the test, my job is to help the guys taking the move up test prepare for it. This is my first year with this responsibility, the last 5 years, a 30+ year guy did it but he is retired.

What we have done in the past is randomly review the questions verbally with the guys to help them get ready. We don't give them the test or answers on paper. Just a verbal review.

No sweat - I've got an e-mail to OHSAA - I'll just go that route.

Larks,

What my group did when I took the Class 2 to 1 test was work off of an old test and assign questions to each person with them giving the reference in the Rules or Case Book. That way everyone in the class did some actually looking at rules in the book. Made a big difference in taking the test - it was a breeze because I had gone through almost every part of the book again.

Good luck with your task
