Stern says he is confident Crawford is ready to referee games

NEW YORK -- NBA referee Joey Crawford, suspended following an incident with Tim Duncan last April, has been reinstated, the NBA announced Monday.

This article is a little late. I heard this more than a month ago. Also, Blaine Reichelt is coming back out of retirement, that's good for you guys who support wearing a belt with your pants. haha. At the same time we also lose Bernie Fryer who seemed to be a great guy from the little time that I met him.

Apparently Bernie is leaving because of the unrest in the officiating community. Have you heard of any D-League guys being called up?

There are about 5 on the table right now that I know of, but as far as being hired I have no idea.

So what was the punishment? He couldn't work the Finals? He couldn't work games in July and August?
