Sorry but the u and the I are side by side on my keyboard.

With regards to the play, the interpretation that we received after this situation occurred was that this type of disception had nothing to do with the game and was considered unsportsmanlike.
TH, are the "e" and the "i" also side by side on your keyboard?

Chuck

I didn't realize Mr. Spelling lived on this board. I thought he lived on the McGriff board. I have made the necessary changes to satisfy the Speeling Police. I guess I just type too d@mn fast!

What kind of sound does a giraffe make?
This has been a joke in my family for generations. Whenever a kid is young and just learning what sounds animals make, we ask him or her, "What does the dog say, what does the cat say, what does the cow say, etc." Then, after about 7 or 8 obvious animals, we ask, "What does the giraffe say?"

The facial looks are priceless.

Maybe that's why my whole family is warped? Actually, it's probably just one of many reasons.

Last Friday he was talkin' about only seven players and submarines... or something, kinda screechy-like.

Next, you can ask why the giraffe's neck is so long.

The obvious answer: Because the head is so far from the torso. (and it would look really stupid / cool not to have the neck connected at both ends)

I was only talking about animals. Most of the howler monkeys I know are vegetables - at least between the ears.

It's only a distraction, just like every female player in America yelling "ball, ball, ball, ball, ball" in everyone's face.
I've gone on record in the past as saying this doesn't bother me, like it does some of y'all. But the other day I was watching ag ame where this one girl was doing this, whether or not the ball was anywhere near her, and whether or not she was on defense. In other words, all the time. She had an incredibly high, screechy voice, and was unbelievably loud. If I had been working, I'd have been tempted to call a time-out, just to get a break from it.

For monkey-isms, how about "hesalloverim?"

BTW, for you "ball" fans out there, the thing I find most annoying is how my HS girls' team would yell "SHOT!" whenever someone shot the ball. At least they didn't do this for FT's.

Juulie - the Davism to deal with a girl calling "ball, ball, ball, ball, ball" right in front of you is that every time she says the word "ball", you quickly say, "yes, it is a ball." The conversation sounds something like this - "ball", "yes it is a ball", "ball", "yes it is a ball", "ball", "yes it is a ball", "ball", "yes it is a ball" - they usually quit about then.
