Cali pay
In Southern Cal, we get...
Frosh/JV- $41/game Varsity- $52 JUCO- between $75-90 I also know that the Pac-10 pays officials $800/game (D-I, conference games only) The WAC, WCC, and other "smaller" D-I conferences pay around $650. I've never heard of $1600 for a college game-maybe including travel and per diem... |

Down Under
Keep in mind these are Aussie Dollars (about 55c US) and that the quality of basketball is probably a little lower.
Australian basketball is grouped accourding to age (up to 23 years) and then by Division. All are two whistles. This is what we get paid for "Sydney Championship": U12 - (4x7 minutes, no shot clock) $8 - $11 U14 - (4x8 minutes, shot clock only in Div1) $10 - $12 U16 - U18 (4x10, shot clock) $15 - $22 These are State-wide rates, all games 4x10 minutes, 24 sec shot clock. Under 23 $28 - $40 Div1 Mens $48 - $60 Div1 Womens $40 - $55 Div 2&3 Mens $35 - $50 Div 2&3 Womens $35 - $45 Rates are slightly higher for finals, slightly lower for "round-robin" conferences.
