Hey - even though I don't have (and never did have) a mullet, at least I have enough hair for one, unlike some other people I know on this board (no - I don't mean Juulie). :)

Ouch - that one might hurt in the morning.

Maybe it's a suggestion for how to attach proper numbers to the jersey if the original numbers aren't the right size.

You're on the right track.

It is a suggestion...

Fastener, diagram, Arabic numeral.

We better be careful before the moderators take this one down for being racially insensitive. :p

Yeah - we wouldn't want the Romans to get upset that we weren't using their numerals. We might get a visit from Tony Soprano.

Can I nominate this for post of the week? :D

Also, any chance Meadow would visit along with pops?

As long as Uncle Junior doesn't show up waving his gun, I wouldn't mind. ;)

BTW - I nominate Pauly Walnuts for the best name on television.

When I first moved to the northwest years ago Oregon State beat USC for the first time in years, but the game was really close. OSU had built a lead and then hung on for the win.

The next day in the Spokane Spokesman-Review, the headline on the front page of the sports section was "BEAVERS OUTLAST TROJANS".

I showed the paper to my lovely bride who responded with, "Well, Duh!"

A while back there were 2 girl's HS teams locally, both Catholic schools, that fought it out every year post season. One of the teams was always slightly better, they even won state 2 yrs in a row. Local newspaper headline after the second win was

"Girls from XXX go all the way again!"

:)

Quite a few years ago I was watching a UCLA-USC basketball game on TV. One of the UCLA students was holding a sign that read, "FLUSH USED TROJANS". :D

You would then be let in free to the game. This was so bizarre, I checked their website and there was no mention of it. It's got to be a joke.

On Tuesday, May 8, the Brewers are partnering with WITI FOX 6, Froedert & The Medical College of Wisconsin, and the National Prostate Cancer Coalition to conduct free digital (DRE) and PSA blood test prostate cancer screenings, from 7a.m. through 3p.m. A mobile clinic vehicle will be set up in front of TGI Friday's restaurant, located on the northeast corner of Miller Park. In addition, the Brewers will provide two tickets to a future Brewers game to every person screened. Parking is free and no appointment is necessary.

Well, there ya go.......

My entry for dirtiest line in the history of TV:

"Ward, I think you were a little hard on the Beaver last night".
