3 man mechanics

Are there any links online where I can find info on how to apply proper HS 3 man mechs? ie: when to switch, when to stay, where to stand on FTs, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Sent me to Scroogle and this looks like a promising link:

http://www.lhsaa.org/officials/OfficialsManualsMenu.htm

I think I'll download them and read through them before camp this month.

The only thing I warn you about the LHSAA manual is that our supervisor doesnt believe in the Flex. The Lead will rotate, but C and T always keep their positions regardless of what side Lead is on. C is always away from the table, and is where the calling official goes after reporting the foul.Just a lil note for you.

There are other inconsistencies with the NFHS Officials Manual too, I believe. It's out-of-date basically, unless it's changed from the last time that I looked at it. You'd be much better off to purchase the current NFHS manual. It ain't expensive.

Only $6.75 plus S/H. Do yourself the favor and buy a copy.

Rich I agree with you, but try telling Mac (the LHSAA official's supervisor) that it is 2007 and not 1995.

I worked hoops in New Orleans for a year. That guy needs to be put out to pasture. Fortunately, I lived there when we worked all 2-person.
