Unfortunately, the bridge that I live under doesn't have a lawn.

I have to admit that the l'il feller just reeks of empathy.

Ahhh c'mon...he's just a big pu.... err... on second thought...yeah, empathy. Reeks of it. Yeah... that's it...empathy.

LOL...not much of a World Series...I honestly didn't make it through one single entire game. Too boring. Don't think I could have sat through them even if I was a BoSox fan. It was like watching the Varsity scrimmage the JV...

Yep, that's about it. Fine simile.

Well, I'll tell you my theory. The Rangers stood to gain $21M if A-Rod opted out. A-Rod stood to gain $72M if he opted in. The Rangers probably offered to split the $21M with him, and he can still get (better than) $72M from another team.

Of course, that would probably be illegal....

Gee, I don't know. Those posts were pretty darn sweet. Deliberately not using vocab that they know is annoying, and then finding something nice to say about poor ol Chuck who tends to get no respect. I wonder if their inner females are rising to the surface?? :D Bwa ha ha ha ha..... (or whatever the female version of that sentiment is...)

I heard that at lunchtime. I like Joe (wouldn't have minded him being hired for the Cubs' position), and I think he'll do alright. I do wonder if, in some small part, he was hired to be "the guy that follows Torre". Usually the person that follows the popular guy doesn't do quite as well, and perhaps they didn't want that to happen to Mattingly. So Joe will manage a couple of years, perhaps not do as well as expected, then the "favorite son" Mattingly can swoop in to save the day.

What does your inner female say?

Nah, I'm actually busy today.

I'm re-decorating my office.

I think you need to put your inner female back in the closet.

Does this mean you won't look at paint chips and carpet samples with me?
