No, but I've heard ecstacy can.

Just not in Denver right now.

Dan's last doctor's visit. . .

Also, the Colts won pretty easily today, and the Pats are up early on the Skins. We may see that battle of unbeatens next week.

Start? Ha!
I haven't seen an end.

I wonder how many of MLB's future fans get to see an entire game. :(

Edit: Dang it! I missed the entire National Anthem. How was it? Who was it? :( :(

Just curious how you East Coast guys like staying up until 1:00 am to see the end of the games?

RED SOX win in a sweep.

Ok, since baseball season is now over, lock this thread immediately. :)

ChuckElias Sun Oct 28, 2007 11:12pm

YES!!!

Hey, no more posts are allowed in this thread. The season is over. There will be no enjoying your championship. :p

I'm with Nevada. I vote for a lock.

I am curious, though, about how many times a team has won in a sweep only to be swept in the next series. Aside from Arizona this year.

Congratulations, Chuck. You have bragging rights for 1 year. Use them wisely.

Dan and I know where you live.

And under the heading of more important (and good) news......

A-Rod immediately opts out of $91 mil over the next 3 years. His agent, showing all of the class that he and A-Rod are noted for, notifies the Yankees by fax. Hey, why waste time on a personal phone call?

There's a reason that he's never won anything. I can only hope that the Yankees wish him good luck and fuggedaboutit, like they said they would. Good luck and good riddance.

Btw, if anybody thinks that Boras hasn't already gotten an offer of more money from someone like the Mets or Dodgers, they must also still believe in the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny.

Personally, I hope that the Red Sox sign him.

Nevadaref Mon Oct 29, 2007 05:34am

In a move to match the lack of class which the Yankees have displayed lately (see the lowball contract offered to Torre), AR declares that he is opting out on the very day that Red Sox win it all. (BTW JR why do think that the front office of the Yankees deserves classy treatment?)
He and his agent can't even let the focus be on the team that won the WS for a single day.
Here's thinking that Cuban will purchase the Cubs and then purchase AR for Chicago.
