I won't even tell you how fiercely my inner male and inner female fought over that thread. Interesting too, that as soon as you start talking abiout that thread, a certain person who we all suspected at the time starts talking about locking this one...

Well the Sox won and I saw today the Yankees tried to steal the spotlight by announcing their new manager.

Actually, A-Rod and Boras tried to steal the spotlight by making their announcement during the game. At least the manager news was the next day. Also, I see Mattingly said he no longer wants to be a Yankee coach. I wonder if he'll get picked up by another team, or if he will decide to try something in the broadcast booth?
