It was a travel because he came down, got control of the ball and shuffled his feet. It is not a held ball based on NCAA interpretations because the ball was coming out before he got to the floor. I think it was a good call.

He traveled before the shot.
He was fouled on the shot. It was not a held ball. I can't tell whether he traveled after the shot. He released the ball on the dribble very quickly. It was a weak travel but I believe Rut is correct. That's what the T called.

I thought the first call was excellent.
If as Rut said the ball came out of hands which we couldn't really see from the downward angle of the game camera then the travel was a great call also, because he secured the ball and then moved around. I think he thought it was going to be called a held ball . |
