Las Vegas tournament

There is a tournament in Vegas the Thursday, Friday and Saturday before Easter (5th-7th of April). If anyone happens to be in town and wants to officiate, let me know.

No, no airline, bus or train ticket(s) available!

Damn!! I was just thinking about this the other day cause I remembered the one from last year. I'll actually be in town the last week of April -- if you can reschedule the tourney for that time, I can make it!!!

Well, as long as this thread is already off topic, let's keep it nice and friendly, and not turn it into a racial discussion, but how about this.

What are some of the things you recommend doing while visiting Vegas? What are some of the good shows to go see and fun stuff to do, besides betting my monthly mortgage payment all on the Pass Line?

I've never been there, but from what I know....avoid NBA All-Star Weekend at all costs.

I'll be TDY to Valdosta, GA that week. You know I wish I could be there.

You forgot: Making it rain at Club Cheetah's. I want to know what it's like to be Pacman Jones.

I just checked the site (http://www.visionsports.com/LVEC/2007/lvec_home.html).
I didn't realize this was a live period for coaches. It will be a good time.

Nevada, can you come down?

What do the games pay? Are they 2 or 3 person games? I'm seriously considering coming out if the numbers make sense. Also, do I get to work a game with you? What a thread it could be about a game officiated by 3 officiating.com posters.

If you do, make sure you don't call across the paint as the lead or you will be paying for beverages that evening.

Hey, we went to the film on that play and he (our partner) was clearly standing on the "I" and the player was outside of the paint on my side. Since it was a phantom call, it was a good example of why NOT to call across the paint.

Chrisportsfan, it is normally a break-even deal for me, but I used to live there and plan on living there again so I enjoy seeing my friends.
Yes, you can work with me if you want.
Vegas has some really good officials and working this tournament can be some of like a tune-up before camps start. A few of the guys working will be PAC-10 and Big Sky officials. They are my friends, I'm visiting and all that but if I do something that isn't right they don't hold back.

Unfortunately, I can't, but you might try contacting AAR and see who he can get.
