Lightbulb Did we REALLY need THIS??

Remember this picture?:

Well, last night I heard an interview with Pat Summitt, the Tennessee women's coach, who was saying she was there last night (at the TN/FL game) to show her support, just like Bruce did at one of her games.

Pleeeeeessse tell me she didn't show her support in exactly the same way...

Yep, and she is 1000% better at coaching than singing.

I think it's kind of cool that 2 D1 coaches are showing that kind of school spirit.

I thought the same thing.

However there is the possibility that they did this for the publicity. By doing this they look more human and look like coaches that would be fun to play for (IOW - RECRUTTING! ) I'll bet there are a number of other coaches that are saying "Man I wish I thought of that first!"

Of course this is just a possibilty. If they were doing it without this intention then it was a very fun and "cool" thing. If they were doing it for recrutting then they are very smart and savy individuals!

Does anyone know of other things like this in the history of coaches/A.D.s/Owners?

Careful...I'm not sure I would want that comment getting back to her.

No, but her maiden name is Head. Pat Head.

Her father's name is Richard. I am not making this up.
