Good point. Sorry I should have used the term minister. It obviously wasn't a priest. :o

FYI: Orthodox Catholics are allowed to be married, if they were married BEFORE they became priests.

Only if they were ordained in another Christian Church and converted. They cannot receive their ordination in the Cathoic Church if they are still married. (Widowed? Yes)

You are talking about ROMAN Catholic. I specifically stated ORTHODOX Catholic. This is the old Russian and Greek side that split because they do not recognize the Pope. He is just another Cardinal to them.
