I actually have found it more enjoyable to watch the games, since I can focus on the basketball rather than the officiating. I'm not nearly as critical of the refs as I was when I didn't know anything about officiating. I always thought the refs were missing calls a lot. Now that I'm able to give them the benefit of the doubt, I don't focus on them.

I have to force myself to do it, though, when I'm watching to pick up keys from the varsity refs on how they want things done here. You know, how tight to call the game, where to stand during certain points of the game.
