Lightbulb "Now you know"

I've had several instances this year where there was an early handcheck call and the coach said to his team; "now you know".
It seems clearly to me that some coaches are telling their team to go out there and see what will be called tonight. More than ever before, I understand the "get it early theory".

My pregame always includes to get the off ball fouls early and handchecks. IMO that is what sets the tone for the game.

coaches will always take what you allow their kids to do--that is exactly what he was doing, and he was smart enough to know to adjust. That doesn't usually happen.
