Why "general" and "additional"?
I have always wondered why Rule 2 has two consecutive sections dealing with officials' duties. There is "Section 7 Officials' General Duties" and "Section 8 Officals' Additional Duties."
Why not combine them? Is there some significan philosophical difference between these two sections that has eluded me?

They simply separate the situations where offiicals have to remove players from the game. Why? Who knows? Who cares?
