Backcourt or not

SOmething I am confused about...heres the situation:
A1 is throwing the ball from out of bounds on the endline in A team frontcourt. He throws it to A2 who is at the 3 point ark still in team A's frontcourt. The ball goes right threw A2's hands (they never established team control, nobody did) and the ball goes into the backcourt where A3 recovers. Backcourt or not?

No backcourt violation. Team control is not established (in this situation) until A3 has control in the backcourt.

Yes on both counts.

Was getting fed up with the McGriff board. The original rule over here was to have everyone register under their real name to keep things a bit more civil.

For the most part, I think we've done well.

I only responded to a question that was asked.

(But thank you for allowing me to pad my post count!)

Cos did say that, but the full line was: "Riiiiiiight. What's a cubit?"

And, as you might know, a cubit is the distance from a man's elbow to his thumb extended (the forearm - a handy measuring tool, so to speak). 40 cubits would be approximately 60 feet.

Now, Babylonian flood myths... oh yeah, basketball... nevermind.

I thought it was elbow to tip of middle finger. No?

So, how long is a Basketball Court in cubits? So would the distance to the 3-point "arc" be the same as the size of the "ark"? Just curious.

Wouldn't that make Her a Goddess then?

You're really afraid of the Wrath of the Rainmaker, aren't you?

Nah. But since God is spirit, God is neither male nor female. I simply like to use the feminine pronoun to buck the nearly universal intuition that since we call God "He", God must be male. Your first question is exactly why I call God "she".

Then why don't you call God "It"?

Btw, did you know that God is a Yankees fan too?

It's true, it's true.....
