Extra Period And The A/P Arrow

Can't seem to find a reference for whether the arrow is set after the jump to start an extra period. I know that the extra period is an extension of the fourth period for everything else. Does that also apply to the arrow? Reference please (if there is one).

See rule 6-4-1. The start of the game and the each OT period are treated the same.

6-4-1 should answer it

Why wouldn't 4-3-1 and 6-4-1 cover it?

Looks like I need a refresher course on my speed typing.

I am taking it that a new arrow is established on the jump-ball for the extra period by the sentence " The team obtaining control from the jump ball establishes the alternating-possession procedure, and the arrow is set toward the opponent's basket." Thanks for the quick reply!
